We have a dual-purpose approach to become agents of positive social change and to sustainably participate in activities that improve the lives of individuals and communities in our legal and justice system.


We believe that financial performance must no longer be the sole pursuit of the corporation. Companies should now be pushed to evolve – to scale down their single-minded pursuit of financial gain and pay closer attention to their impact on and the interests of all their stakeholders – including employees, customers and communities – not just those of their owners and shareholders.

We aim to be a company that creates both financial and social value, by building a commitment to creating both kinds of value into our core activities.

We do this by using an approach that involves setting and monitoring social and financial goals, structuring the organisation to pursue both, hiring employees who can embrace them, and managing with both goals in mind.

When social and financial goals do come into conflict, we’re able to carefully balance interests and keep our twin objectives on the two tracks at once – using equal measures of creativity and discipline, aspiration and practicality, which we believe are, after all, the ingredients of great leadership in our industry and economy.
