Caryn graduated from the University of Bristol (UK) with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree in 2016. Caryn was subsequently admitted to the roll of Advocates & Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2018.
Prior to joining the Tembusu Law, Caryn completed her relevant legal training at a boutique matrimonial law firm. She subsequently completed her training contract at a leading homegrown Singapore Law Practice where her primary focus was on criminal and matrimonial litigation.
Caryn has a broad general practice with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution. Her core areas of interest and expertise include criminal defence and matrimonial law — she has been involved in handling multi-million dollar contested divorces and she has also acted for clients in a wide range of criminal matters both as Defence Counsel and prosecution work on behalf of public organisations. She also regularly acts for and advises clients on diverse areas of family law including matters in relation to deputy applications under the Mental Capacity Act, wills and contentious probate matters.
